SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Caitlin Dean Monday scored 13 points to lead the South Hadley girls basketball team to a 45-36 win over Wahconah.

 

C.C. Gurek and Ava Asselin each scored seven points in the fourth quarter, when the Tigers outscored Wahconah, 22-15, to put the game away.

 

Madison McCarthy hit three 3-pointers to score nine points and lead Wahconah, which got six points apiece from Samantha Kaley, Dani Barry and Anna Doyle.

 

Wahconah (12-3) hosts Taconic on Thursday.
