AMHERST, Mass. – Ashlyn Lesure scored 18 points Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team in a 61-14 win over Amherst.

 

Hoosac Valley held its hosts to three points in the second half on the way to winning its ninth straight game to end the regular season.

 

Genevieve Lagess scored 12 points, and Emma Meczywor added 10 in the win.

 

Hoosac Valley (15-3) waits to hear who its opponent will be in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class D Tournament.
