NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Mika Diller and Giana Carlino each finished in double figures to lead the Lee girls basketball team to a 54-13 win over McCann Tech on Tuesday.

 

The Wildcats held the Hornets scoreless in the first half, taking a 27-0 lead into the locker room.

 

“Very tough one tonight,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “We worked hard defensively, but Lee is a talented team. Offensively we struggled terribly to put the ball in the hole.  Even when we ran our offenses right we couldn’t score which led to frustration which crept into their confidence levels which just made it spiral from there.”

 

Kenzie Garrity and Leanna Driscoll each scored seven for Lee.

 

McCann Tech got five points from Madison Rougeau.

 

The Hornets (0-6) go to Baystate Charter on Wednesday.

 

Lee (4-2) is off until it travels to Southwick on Monday.
