PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Harolyn Castillo scored 13 points, and five Pittsfield Generals finished in double figures in a 77-29 win over Chicopee on Thursday night.

 

Castillo also pulled down four rebounds and passed out five assists in the win as Pittsfield improved to 9-0 this winter.

 

Bre’Jai Ellerbee scored 12 points, and Dezerea Powell added 11.

 

Caprese Conyers had 10 points and five assists, and Asia Smith-Moody scored 10 for Pittsfield, which built a 29-4 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

 

Castillo scored eight points in that first quarter.

 

Pittsfield Saturday can clinch a berth in the state tournament when it hosts Wahconah.
