EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Madison Stetz scored 15 points Monday to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 57-23 win over East Longmeadow.

 

Stetz just missed a double-double with nine rebounds as the Generals completed a season sweep of the Spartans, a 69-34 loser in the teams’ season opener at UMass-Amherst.

 

Harolyn Castillo scored 11 points and grabbed five boards. Castillo scored nine points in the first quarter, when Pittsfield opened up a 23-2 lead.

 

Bre’Jai Ellerbee scored eight points, and Kyana Summers finished with six points and seven assists.

 

The Generals (11-1) host Westfield on Thursday.
