LEE, Mass. – Zi'Yan Wallace scored 26 points Thursday to lead the Renaissance girls basketball team to a 54-39 win over Lee.

 

The Phoenix grabbed a 15-4 lead after one quarter and took a 43-17 advantage into the fourth.

 

“Played a great Renaissance team tonight and had no answer for Wallace,” Lee coach Rick Puleri said. “They were really solid defensively and caused us to struggle to get open looks. I’m really proud of our effort tonight. They never quit.”

 

Mika Diller scored 10 points, and Giana Carlino added eight for the Wildcats.

 

Lee (7-3) hosts Lenox on Monday.
