DALTON, Mass. – Skyler Steele scored 15 points Monday to lead the Frontier girls basketball team to a 57-46 win over Wahconah in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B Tournament.

 

Wahconah led, 34-27, at half-time and had a two-point lead going to the fourth quarter.

 

But Frontier held Wahconah to just three points in the final eight minutes to come from behind and earn the win.

 

Wahconah’s Madison McCarthy hit four 3-pointers and scored 24 points to lead all scorers.

 

Danielle Hagmaier scored 10 points in the loss.

 

Wahconah (12-7) finishes the regular season on Thursday at home against Pope Francis.
