AMSTERDAM, N.Y. – Harolyn Castillo scored 24 points Monday to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 54-46 win over Niskayuna in the Amsterdam Holiday Showcase.

 

Castillo finished with her second straight double-double, hauling in 12 rebounds.

 

She scored 10 points in the first quarter, when the Generals jumped out to a 14-2 lead.

 

Kyana Summers scored 13 points and eight boards, and Caprese Conyers added 10 points and swiped five steals in the win.

 

Pittsfield (3-0) comes home to face Longmeadow on Tuesday night.
