PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Caprese Conyers scored 18 points Wednesday as the Pittsfield girls basketball team opened its post-season with a 58-23 win over Springfield International Charter in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B Tournament.

 

Madison Stetz had a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards, and Harolyn Castillo scored 10 points for the Generals.

 

Kyana Summers finished with 11 rebounds and nine assists to go with four points.

 

Top-seeded Pittsfield (15-4) will be home in the quarter-finals to face Pope Francis, a 46-42 winner over Southwick on Wednesday.
