CHICOPEE, Mass. – The Chicopee boys soccer team Tuesday earned a 3-2 win over Pittsfield in the Western Massachusetts Class B semi-finals.

 

Kyle Cardoso scored a pair of goals on assists from Gustavo De Oliveira.

 

The Generals scored the game’s first goal, but the Pacers came back to take a 2-1 lead at half-time.

 

“Second half I thought we played with a lot more energy and competed big time,” Pittsfield coach Ryan Wanek.” I’m proud of the team for their never say die attitude and constantly fighting until the last minute of today’s contest.”

 

Pittsfield (10-5-3) waits to learn who it will face in the first round of the state tournament.
