This creative movement offering is designed to provide an opportunity for children to exercise their imagination, strengthen their fine and gross motor skills, and support the development of social skills and emotional intelligence.

Laurel Lenski is a Berkshire County native with a passion for sharing the power of movement and expression. Scholastically, she holds an A.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Expressive Art Therapy. Since obtaining those degrees, she has applied her knowledge and experience through various professional roles in the human services field. Many of those roles afforded her the opportunity to lead exercise and movement classes for senior citizens, residents of long term care communities, and creative movement groups for preschool age children.

The West Mass Brass Band (WMBB), a brass band in the British tradition, will be performing a free concert at St. Joseph’s Church, at 414 North Street, Pittsfield, MA, on Saturday 6/8/24 at 1 PM in participation of the church’s 175 years anniversary festivities.  There will also be a cookout. Guitarist Peter Einhorn is an award-winning composer who has scored dozens of documentary films and videos. He is a graduate of the University of Miami jazz guitar program and holds Masters degrees in music composition and mathematics. His performancevenues range from numerous New York City jazz clubs to the Metropolitan Opera. He has performed and/or recorded with jazz greats including Ira Sullivan, Joe Lavona, Jimmy Cobb, Steve Swallow and Eddie Daniels and on the classical side with Placido Domingo. His most recent recording is “Seems Like Old Times”. Others include Karl Berger’s “StillPoint” with John Lindberg (NY String Trio) which is internationally distributed on Sunny Moon records and Ira Sullivan’s “Strings Attached” on Pausa Records. He is a “Meet the Composer" grant recipient.

For this performance Peter will be joined by Emily Kate Einhorn-vocalist, Lou Pappas-bass and Scott Neumann-drums.
