STORYTIME WITH STAY & PLAY @BECKETATHENAEUM
Becket, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Kids and caregivers are invited to stay at the library after Storytime for Stay & Play! We’ll keep the party going with toys, games, puzzles, and snacks for the kids, along with coffee, tea, snacks, and time for connection for the caregivers! Families are not required to attend Storytime to join in on Stay & Play - stop by when you can!

*Second Saturday of the month, the craft project is replaced by creative movement with Laurel Lenski and no formal Stay & Play will be held but families are always welcome (and encouraged!) to hang out in the library.

RSVP appreciated. Masks optional.

1919: MASSACHUSETTS DEBATES WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE!

Sina Mansouri and James Capuzzi re-imagine the June 25th, 1919 final MA state house debate on women's suffrage! How would you have voted? What were the arguments for and against women's suffrage? How did the Massachusetts legislature debate before voting on June 25th, 1919? Sina Mansouri and James Capuzzi re-imagine the final suffrage debate in Massachusetts! Where and when will it take place?

The event will take place on Saturday, June 1st at 5:00 PM at the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum on 67 East Road, Adams MA 01220. Additional parking is available on Walling Road, around the corner from the museum. The event will take place outdoors if weather permits.
