George Cote, 68
George Edward Cote, 67 of North Adams died on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at home. He was born in North Adams on December 28, 1955 a son of the late Normand Edward and Ethel G. (Slater) Cote.
George attended local schools, and worked in maintenance for most of his life. He loved music, singing and playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.
George leaves his two daughters, Bonnie Lee Belanger of Pittsfield, and Jessica Marie Cote-Lapp (Andrew) of Florida, and one son, Joshua Maurice Cote of Pittsfield and stepson Timothy Gagne. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Jocelyn Cote, Davion Cote, John Bump Jr., all of Pittsfield, Tyler Bump of North Adams, Jordan Belanger of Pittsfield, Ava Lapp, Ella Lapp and step grandchild Izaiya Nestre as well as sisters Robin Cote Martin (Raymond), and Carole Cote Perras (Raymond) both of North Adams, and one brother, Robert Cote (Paula) also of North Adams. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and their children. He was predeceased by his brother Normand Cote, and sister Gail Cote.
