WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Connor Hamilton and Chad Parent had a goal and an assist apiece on Wednesday to lead the Frontier boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over Mount Greylock.
Cal Filson made two saves for the Mounties (10-2-1), who did not manage a shot on goal against the Red Hawks (10-3-2).
"Frontier is an excellent team and beat us in all facets of the game today," Mount Greylock coach Blair Dils said. "Based on what I've seen, they should be the favorite to win Western Mass this year."
Mount Greylock, which saw a six-game unbeaten streak snapped on Wednesday, will look to get back in the win column and get some revenge on Tuesday when they travel to Kirvin Park to face Pittsfield. Back on Sept. 29, the Generals dealt the Mounties their first loss of the season.
