CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley’s Keagan McGrath no-hit the Lee Wildcats on Tuesday in a 15-0 win shortened to five innings by the mercy rule.
McGrath walked just two but faced the minimum as he picked off Lee’s only two baserunners.
He struck out eight of the 15 outs he needed for the win.
At the plate, McGrath went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 10-hit Hoosac Valley attack.
Jon Krol went 2-for-4 with a double and three runs batted in, and the Hurricanes took advantage of eight Lee errors to produce eight unearned runs.
