CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Cole Desroches hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh to give the Hoosac Valley baseball team a 7-6 win over Lee on Saturday afternoon.
Luc Trombley started the inning with an infield single. Henry Sniezek then reached on a bunt and moved up to second on an errant throw that allowed Trombley to get to third with no out for Desroches.
The Hurricanes rallied from a 6-1 deficit with four in the fifth and one in the sixth, setting the stage for the dramatic ending.
John Krol homered and drove in a pair of runs, and Sam Larabee went 2-for-4 with a double. Sniezek went 2-for-4 and scored a run.
Devin Kogut and Krol split time on the mound. Krol earned the win with 3-⅔ innings of scoreless relief.
Hunter Roosa went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Garrett Hopkins was 3-for-4 for the Wildcats (2-5), who host Hopkins Academy on Monday.
Hoosac Valley (2-4) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
