Teen Pleads Not Guilty In Fatal Lee Accident

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - A teen driver had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of motor vehicle homicide while under the influence and speeding in a December 2011 accident that killed a 17-year-old passenger.

Philip K Baruch Jr., of Lenox, was allegedly the operator of a vehicle that struck a tree on Greylock Street in Lee and killed 17-year-old Remy Kirshner.

He was released by Judge John Agostini on personal recognizance.

Teen Charged In Fatal Lee Accident

Philip Baruch Jr.
, 18, of Lenox was charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and operating to endanger and causing the death of another and one count of speeding.

Baruch was the driver of a vehicle that struck a tree on Greylock Street in Lee on Dec. 30, 2011 and 17-year-old Remy Kirshner died as a result of the crash.

Baruch will be arraigned on in Southern Berkshire District Court on Feb. 2.
