Lee, MA- Each April, the College Internship Program (CIP) supports Autism Awareness Month by participating in autism-related events across the country. These events are uniquely designed to shine a light on autism awareness and acceptance. CIP’s Good Purpose Gallery in Lee, Massachusetts is pleased to announce several unique exhibitions during April in honor of Autism Awareness Month. During the first week of April, the Gallery will feature an exhibition from Community Access to the Arts (CATA), which showcases artwork by people with disabilities and a range of neurodiversity. The second week, the Gallery will install and celebrate the artwork by high school students across the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts and photographs by Dr. Michael McManmon, CIP’s Founder and an accomplished artist who has himself been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. Student artwork from CIP Centers across the country will also be featured during the month of April. For more information about CIP’s year-round and summer programs, visit cipworldwide.org.
