Evelyn M. MacAdoo, 41
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Evelyn Marie MacAdoo, 41, of 325 Walnut St. died Sunday, July 13, 2014, at her home.Born in Hartford, Conn., on Aug. 16, 1972, a daughter of John Main Jr. and Mary Thim Main, she attended schools in Connecticut and North Adams, graduating from Drury High School in 1990.
Mrs. McAdoo was a certified nursing assistant in the area. She was a devoted homemaker and mother.
She and her husband, Andrew MacAdoo, were married Dec. 28, 1991, in Williamstown.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Michael MacAdoo and John MacAdoo, both of North Adams; five sisters, Charlene Sirios, Pamela Armando and Donna Lord, all of Connecticut, Mary Wood of North Adams and Maureen Pomoroy of Pittsfield; six brothers, Neil Main, Dennis Main and Thomas McCarthy, all of South Carolina, Robert Johnson of New Hampshire, James McCarthy of Pittsfield and Gary Main of Connecticut; her mother-in-law, Irene MacAdoo of North Adams, and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, John Main III, Kenneth Main, Robert Main, Jeffrey Main and Richard Main, and her sister Kimberly Romano.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Calling hours for Mrs. MacAdoo will take place Sunday, July 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 22, at 1 p.m. in Southview Cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested through the funeral home.
