Mary L. Maselli, 84
CLARKSBURG, Mass. - Mary Louise Maselli, 84, of 361 Cross Road died Tuesday afternoon, Agu. 26, 2003, at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she had been admitted Monday. Born in North Adams on July 3, 1919, daughter of Luigi and Elisabetta Rosati Irace, she attended schools there.
Mrs. Maselli was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for 31 years, retiring in 1966.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church, a member of the Sprague Quarter Century and Retirees clubs, and enjoyed bowling. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Her husband, Guido Paul Maselli, whom she married May 17, 1947, in St. Anthony's Church, died Nov. 1, 1995.
She leaves a daughter, Mary Barry and her husband, William, with whom she made her home; three brothers, Austin Rogge of Adams, John Irace of New Castle, Pa., and Henry E. Irace of North Adams; two sisters, Constance Briola and Rose E. Girardi, both of North Adams; two grandsons, Joshua Morin of Clarksburg and Jason Morin of Adams; a great-grandson, Jason Michael Morin Jr., and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Four sisters are deceased: Philomena Richardello, Josephine Scalise, Angelina Laino and Frances Louison.
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mrs. Maselli will be Friday at 8:15 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial will follow in Clarksburg Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 at the funeral home. Donations are suggested to Elder Services in care of the funeral home.
