Anthony F. Milazzo, 66
READSBORO, Vt. — Anthony Frank Milazzo, 66, of 117 Route 100 died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at North Adams (Mass.) Regional Hospital. Born in New York City on Feb. 13, 1942, son of Francesco and Marianna Giaquinta Milazzo, he attended school on Long Island.
Mr. Milazzo was co-owner of T&M Auto in North Adams. Before that, he was the manager of the former Hunter Outdoor Products, Cecile Industries and Mohawk Industries, all in North Adams.
He enjoyed car shows and was a street-rod enthusiast, and loved spending time with his family.
He and his wife, the former Marie Grace Carpio, were married June 17, 1962, in West Islip, N.Y.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Frank J. Milazzo of Milton, N.Y., Michael A. Milazzo of North Adams and Tony G. Milazzo of Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Josephine Prygocki of Bayshore, N.Y.; two brothers, Thomas Milazzo of Louisville, Ky., and Steven Milazzo of Readsboro; three grandchildren, Anthony E. Milazzo of North Adams, Michael R. Milazzo of Hancock, Mass., and Stephanie J. Milazzo of Milton, and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings Paul Milazzo and Frances Salay.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Milazzo will take place Monday, Nov. 24, at 11 at St. John's Episcopal Church in North Adams. Calling hours at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247, will be Sunday, Nov. 23, from 3 to 7.
Memorial donations are suggested for the Shriners' Children's Hospital through the funeral home.
