NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Marla Susan Lavigne, 41, of 353 Walnut St. died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at home.

Born in North Adams on Sept. 10, 1967, daughter of Raymond A. and Donna M. Giguere Lavigne, she attended Adams schools and also Drury High School.

Ms. Lavigne was last employed at Dunkin' Donuts in Adams.

She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.

Besides her parents, of North Adams, with whom she made her home, she leaves a son, Tyler Lavigne of North Adams; a daughter, Sarah Tortolani of North Adams; three brothers, John Lavigne of Bradenton, Fla., Jeff Lavigne of North Adams and David Lavigne; her maternal grandmother, Catherine Giguere of North Adams, and aunts, uncles and cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE â€' A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Ms. Lavigne will be celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, at 74 Marshall St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.

hey mom. i will write to you every once in a while. i had my baby june 25th. he's the cutest baby ever mom. he had open heart surgery 2 days after he was born but he is all good now and doing well. i really miss you, so so much. i talk to ty every now and then. i miss him too. i wish i was with now. i wish i got to say goodbye to you. i love you mom

hey mom. i haven't talked or seen you in a while. i want you to know how i'm doing so here i write to you. i'm having a baby boy in june with my boyfriend kyle desautels. i wish you could meet him. he's so sweet and treats me like a lady. you'd be proud. i'm 4'8 and still have lovely brown hair that you always brushed and braided when i was smaller. you told me never to dye it any other color cause my hair matched my eyes. i had a dream about you last night and i woke up crying. i miss you so much mom. i want you to know everything i said to you when i was living with kerry was a lie. i do love you and if you were still living today i'd be with you everyday, i swear. i went to grandma's house like 4 months ago and i saw old pictures of you. you're so beautiful. you are the most wonderful mom in the world. i wish our lives never ended up the way they did. i wish i lived with you up until the moment you died. i wanna cry so bad right now but you'd just tell me to be strong so thats what i'm doing. i think about you everyday mom and i promise that someday you'll see me again. i love you so much. your daughter, sarah

I love you mom! I know we didn't have the best of relationships, But I forgive you of everything from the past. I miss you and grandpa so much and I love you both so much....I wish you were both still here, Life isn't the same. All I look forward to now is going to heaven and seeing you both again and being happy forever together. Im sorry for any pain I caused you from the past. I miss you. I pray for you all the time! I just finished watching your movie of The Lavignes Thanksgiving of 92. Ill always think and pray for you and grandpa. Rest In Peace mom!
