General Surgeon Joins North Adams Regional Hospital

Dr. Hisham Hourani
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Dr. Hisham Hourani, a board-certified general surgeon, has joined Northern Berkshire General Surgery and the medical staff of North Adams Regional Hospital.

Dr. Hourani is accepting new patients and can be reached at 413- 664-5999. He has offices in the Ambulatory Care Center on the campus of NARH.

Dr. Hourani earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut School of Medicine. He completed his post-graduate training at the American University of Beirut and Wake Forest University/North Carolina Baptist hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. and at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, where he completed a fellowship in vascular surgery.

He was also a research fellow and instructor in surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Most recently Dr. Hourani was in private practice at St. Anne’s and Charlton Hospitals in Fall River, associated with Prima-Care Surgery.


Dr. Hourani joins Dr. Tim Baisch and Dr. William Saxbe at Northern Berkshire General Surgery.

Mystic, Conn., Rolls Past SteepleCats

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Camden Righi went 3-for-5 with a double Tuesday to lead the Mystic Schooners (5-1) to a 12-2 win over the North Adams SteepleCats in New England Collegiate Baseball action at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Parker Camelo was 2-for-3 at the plate for North Adams, which scored both its runs in the bottom of the ninth.
 
North Adams used six pitchers in the loss. James Morr and Joe LaPrade each provided an inning of no-hit relief.
 
The SteepleCats (0-3) are at Martha's Vineyard on Wednesday night.
