The Becket Athenaeum presents the 29th Manhattan Short Film Festival. This collaborative event brings together 100,000 film lovers across the world in more than 500 cities on six continents to view and vote on the 10 finalists' films. Bohemian drag star Tammie Brown returns to The Foundry with "Bonkerz!" One moment she's belting, the next she's philosophizing, then she's dancing like a vintage cartoon brought to life. Tammie Brown is the stage name of Keith Glen Schubert, an American singer, actor and drag performer, perhaps best known for his appearance as a contestant on "RuPaul's Drag Race, Season 1" and "RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars."

Emmy Award-winning writer Alan Zweibel, an original "Saturday Night Live" writer, will appear for an evening of conversation followed by a screening of "Here Today," a film he co-wrote with Billy Crystal based on Zweibel's short story "The Prize."

Held at the '62 Center for Theatre & Dance on the Williams College campus. Former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Gary Kroeger will host the discussion.

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist Raul Midón has built a genre-defying career that blends soul, jazz, Latin rhythms, and acoustic virtuosity into a sound entirely his own. Blind since birth, Midón has often been described as a “one-man band”—turning his guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a chorus (The New York Times). His artistry has earned praise from icons such as Quincy Jones (“his music makes you smile”), Elton John (who called State of Mind a “soul classic”), and Bill Withers, who championed his music. 

A true eclectic adventurist (People), Midón continues to push boundaries. This performance features a unique live fusion of evocative vocal landscapes, looping, guitar, and ukulele, seamlessly blending African beats with folk, pop, and R&B.

Christine Bilé delivers a versatile, genre-bending performance style, mixing soulful acoustic folk guitar with modern R&B and pop soundscapes. 2026 marked her landmark breakthrough, with single "Lend A Hand" earning heavy rotation on NACC-reporting radio (#7 on KRFF 95.9 FM).

With global radio airplay spanning multiple independent stations worldwide (including Radio LoRa, RTRFM, The Folk Music Notebook, WEXT, and stations across Europe) and a Berlin Music Video Award Badge of Honor for "Chasing The Stars," Christine’s voice reached over 100,000 people when "Matriarchy Battle Song" was placed on a viral post.

Acclaimed singer songwriter, piano virtuoso and multi-instrumentalist A.J. Croce is once again taking his celebrated Croce Plays Crocetour across the country, bringing audiences an unforgettable evening of music that bridges generations and celebrates the enduring power of song. 

Son of the legendary singer songwriter, Jim Croce, A.J. purposefully waited thirty years to perform his father’s music, only introducing his acclaimed Croce Plays Croce tour when he felt there was a meaningful way to honor his musical legacy with depth, intention, and musical integrity. Croce Plays Croce showcases that legacy in a way that few concerts can. Seamlessly blending bebop and Broadway, Kate Kortum has turned the heads of millions as one of the most compelling new artists in jazz today. A Juilliard graduate and winner of the 2025 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, Kortum has become a familiar face on the most iconic stages in jazz including Birdland, Blue Note, Mezzrow, Dizzy's Club, SXSW Festival, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Kortum has toured internationally and collaborated with modern jazz leaders including Bryan Carter, Peter Bernstein, Wynton Marsalis and the world renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.

Her debut album, Good Woman, reimagines jazz standards originally written by men, reclaiming them through bold arrangements and a distinctly female perspective. The record and her follow-up LP Wild Woman have been met with acclaim leading to over 5.1 million streams. Alongside her solo career, Kate Kortum is a member of The Sunhouse Singers, a New York-based vocal trio with vocalists June Cavlan and Joie Bianco. Together, the trio have been featured in projects from Bryan Carter, Charlie Rosen, Christian Wiggs, and Emmet Cohen – appearing on the award-winning program "Live from Emmet's Place."

Returning to The Foundry for the fourth time, Itay Dayan and his Band are coming for an unforgettable night of klezmer – with a few surprises along the way. The evening will feature classic bulgars, beloved Yiddish songs, and original compositions infused with Middle Eastern flavors.

Itay Dayan (b. 1999) is a clarinetist and singer-songwriter who has established himself as a prominent figure in the global Klezmer and Jewish music scene, and is now carving a path as an independent artist. His original works weave together his deep roots in Klezmer with the influences of contemporary Israeli music and artists.

As a clarinetist, Itay maintains an extensive international career performing with two leading ensembles in the field: the Israel Klezmer Orchestra and the Klezmer Conservatory Band. He performs regularly on stages across Israel, Europe, and the United States. He earned his musical education at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the New England Conservatory in Boston.

Beyond his work as a performer, Itay is involved in a wide range of stage projects. These span from producing and performing the Israeli premiere of Oded Lev-Ari’s Triple Helix (2022) to writing and producing the original children's show A Giant Cooked Soup (2023) in collaboration with the Israel Klezmer Orchestra. In 2024, his Klezmer album Hoffman’s Farewell received significant acclaim, being named one of the local albums of the year by Boston's WBUR.

Since 2025, Itay has shifted his focus toward his solo career, releasing a series of successful singles. These include "The Champ" (a tribute to Ibrahim Maalouf) and "In Twos", which garnered tens of thousands of streams.

Currently, Itay is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album, Only Questions for Now (Rak She'elot Beinteyam). The album features his newest single, "Standing Still" (Omed BaMakom), released in February 2026, and is set for full release later this year.

Itay’s artistic development and career have been generously supported by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Ronen Foundation, the Sidai Prize for Musical Creativity and the Zvi and Ofra Meitar Family Fund.
