A. Michael Rinaldi, 68

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. A. Michael Rinaldi, 68, of Adams died on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at his home. 

He was born in Pittsfield on April 12, 1948, a son of Anthony J. Rinaldi Sr. and the late Barbara (Molloy) Rinaldi. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams Memorial High School. He had also attended Charles H. McCann Technical High School and received his certificate in Mechanical Drawing. 

Mr. Rinaldi last worked for General Dynamics, Pittsfield, and earlier had worked at the former General Electric Co., in both power transformer and naval ordnance divisions. 

He was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Trout Unlimited and the Deerfield River Fly Tiers. He had also been a coach for the Adams Little League and the Adams PAL Basketball. 

Besides his father and stepmother, Beverly Rinaldi, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Mary A. Rodowicz, whom he married on September 4, 1971; one daughter, Lea M. Cudworth of Pittsfield; two sons, Michael P. Rinaldi of Pittsfield and Andrew J. Rinaldi of Cambridge, Md.; two brothers, Anthony J. Rinaldi Jr. and his wife Wendy of Richmond and Christopher Rinaldi and his wife Barbara of Adams; one sister, Barbara Czerwinski and her husband Daniel of Cheshire; two brothers in law, John Rodowicz and his wife Dawn of Weston, Mass., and Robert Rodowicz and his wife Darlene of Cheshire; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. 

Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 9, at 11 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Hoosac St., Adams, by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will be private at a later date for the family.
