Michael A. Lavalley, 35

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Michael Alan "Mike" Lavalley, 35, of Second Street, died unexpectedly Monday, December 19, 2016.

Mike was born in Pittsfield on May 11, 1981, the son of Ann Lavalley Vachula. He was educated in Pittsfield schools.

Mike was employed as a driver for Cintas for the past year, and had been a manager at Big Y in Pittsfield and Lee. He enjoyed playing all sports and was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. He loved his family and his children. He was always joking around and making people laugh but would also do anything for those he knew.

Mike is survived by his mother Ann M. Vachula and stepfather Timothy Vachula of Adams; his five children, Keara, Brady, Jacoby, Tyler and Pierce Lavalley of Georgia; his sister Kayla Lavalley and niece London Meyette of Dalton; sister Jamie Vachula of Adams; his stepbrother Timothy Vachula Jr. of Adams; and several aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

Funeral notice: Calling hours will be Monday, December 26, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a service directly following at the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield. There will be no burial at this time.
