Francis H. Lemieux, 82
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Francis Hector Lemieux, 82, of Clarksburg, died Thursday, April 20, 2017, at his home.
Born in North Adams on May 23, 1934, son of Hector F. Lemieux and Irene Babeu Lemieux Carsno, he attended local schools, including the former St. Joseph's High School in North Adams.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Lemieux was last employed by the former General Electric Co. in Pittsfield for more than 20 years until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle and gardening.
He leaves his wife, the former Scarlet B. Penley, whom he married on Nov. 22, 1992; two daughters, Dianna Perras of Pownal, Vt., and Linda Laroux of Williamstown; five sons, Francis H. Lemieux Jr. of South Carolina, William Lemieux of Jacksonville, Vt., and Paul Lemieux, Robert Lemieux and Cameron Lemieux, all of Clarksburg; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
His son Dennis Lemieux is deceased.
