Josephine L. Lamberti, 97

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Josephine “Jo” Louise Lamberti, 97, of North Adams, Mass., died Saturday, October 14, 2017, in her home of natural causes. 

She was born in North Adams on January 4, 1920, to the late Carlo and Mary (Montagna) Lamberti and is a graduate of Drury High School and the former Bliss Business College in North Adams. At the Sprague Electric Co., she worked for 49 years as a budget analyst. 

A longtime communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church and later St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams, she was also a member of the North Adams Senior Center. Josephine enjoyed reading, traveling, social gatherings with friends, and Patriots football. 

She is survived by several friends, including James and Lydia Carollo and their children. 

She was predeceased by her sister Margaret Lamberti and brother William Lamberti.

Funeral notice: Private funeral services for close friends and family will take place Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, Mass. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery.
