James R. Fachini, 72

FLORIDA, Mass. — James Richard Fachini, 72, of Mohawk Trail Florida, Mass., died on Monday, January 15, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center. 

He was born in North Adams, Mass., on April 6, 1945, a son of the late Anthony & Edna (Bratcher) Fachini. He attended schools in North Adams, Mass., and worked at T & R Auto Service as a mechanic.  

He leaves his wife, Lois Evelyn (Upton) Fachini; a daughter, Kristen Roberts of North Adams; and three grandchildren Thomas, Tyler and Haley Roberts. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. James also leaves his sisters, Edith Maynard, Diane Vattes and Irene Schroeder; and a brother John Fachini. 

He was predeceased by three sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Lentine, Mary Jane Manchini and Carol Fachini; and five brothers, Anthony Fachini, Louis Fachini, Michael Fachini, Joseph Fachini and Robert Fachini. 

Funeral notice: Graveside services will take place Friday, January 19, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Southview Cemetery in North Adams.  Donations may be made to Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
