Theresa Marby, 85
ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Theresa (Charland) Marby, 85, of Adams passed away on Friday, February 16, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center’s North Adams campus.
She was born in Pittsfield on June 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Beatrice (Lussier) Charland. She attended schools in Adams and Pittsfield and graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High school, Pittsfield.
Theresa worked at McDonald’s in Adams for 35 years until the time of her death.
She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs and St. Stanislaus Kostka Churches. She was a member and former longtime president of the Burnette-Bednarz Post 1995, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Mrs. Marby was the wife of the late Frank Marby, whom she married on February 14, 1953.
Survivors include her brothers, Armand and Louis Charland; a sister Lillian Charland; two daughters; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
She was predeceased by a sister, Jeanne Charland; and brothers Philip and Leo Charland. She also was predeceased by a grandson.
Funeral notice: Funeral services and burial will be private in the spring at the request of the family. There will be no calling hours.
