Robert P. Lord, 78

ADAMS, Mass. — Robert P. Lord, 78, of Adams passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. 

Born in Adams on April 24, 1939, he was the son of the late Peter and Lillian Duquette Lord. He attended Adams schools and was a graduate of the former Adams High School. Robert was employed for over 35 years with the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams. Mr. Lord retired in 1993 when the North Adams location closed. 

He enjoyed playing golf and playing cards. 

Robert is survived by two brothers, Bernard Lord of Adams and James Lord of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews throughout the country. 

He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Lord; and a sister, Eleanor Solis. 

Funeral notice: Services for Robert will take place Friday, March 23, 2018, at noon from the Trottier Pringle Funeral Home, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. As a cancer survivor of 20 years, family are requesting donations in his memory to Pop Cares in care of the funeral home.
