Ronald C. Dimanche, 77

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Ronald C. Dimanche, 77, of Wilson Street passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born in Pittsfield on March 2, 1941, the son of the late Delphin and Helen King Dimanche. He was educated in Pittsfield schools.

Mr. Dimanche was employed as a construction worker for Lane Construction for 5-plus years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching wrestling, walking his dogs, and doing yardwork.

Ronald married former Susan T. Winters; she died on December 23, 2006.

He is survived by his three daughters, Melissa J. Dimanche of Pittsfield, Fay A. Dimanche (and husband Ron Hanna) of Dalton, and Trina A. Levesque (and husband Wayne) of Hinsdale; his son Steve Haggerty (and wife Cheryl) of Tampa, Fla.; his sister, Nancy S Prezenik of Pittsfield; five grandchildren, Haley Hubbard (and partner Michael Rigdon), Alicya Hubbard, Rechael Valentine, Cristy Raney, Bryan Raney, and Cameron Haggerty; and great-grandchildren Anthony Thompson, Layla Thompson, Hope Lamaire, Aria Carter and Alexander Raney. 

He was predeceased by his brother, William Dimanche; and his sister, Eleanor Southard.

Funeral notice: Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery with Deacon Spencer Trova officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires or St. Jude Children’s Hospital in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
