Robert M. Tatro, 56

BENNINGTON, Vt. — Robert Maurice Tatro, 56, of Bennington, Vt., died on Friday May 25, 2018, at his home.

He was born in North Adams on November 6, 1961, a son of Stanley A. and Cecile I (Rondeau) Tatro. He attended Mount Anthony High School.

Robert was a laborer at the local saw mills and did land clearing. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool.

Survivors include two brothers, David and Michael Tatro of Stamford, Vt.; two sisters, Betty Arnold of Stamford and Kathy Western of Deland, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by a brother, Gary Tatro.

Funeral notice: A funeral to celebrate the life of Robert Tatro will be celebrated on Monday, June 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Joachim's Church in Readsboro, Vt. Calling hours will be on Monday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. Donations may be made to St. Joachim's Church in care of the funeral home.

Sending a special prayer to my baby brother Bob. I was 8 when he was born. I quit playing with dolls and Bob became my real live doll. I fed him, changed his diapers, and felt like he was mine. Bob was always special to me and have many great memories. Love and miss you Bob. Your sister Kathy
