Anna Tonlino, 84

OTIS, Mass. — Anna Mary Tonlino, 84, of Otis, Mass., died Thursday, May 24, 2018. 

Anna was born in Becket on August 8, 1933, the daughter of Frank E. and Ada Fuller Rice. She was raised and educated in Becket and attended high school in Chester. Anna married John B. Tonlino Jr. on November 8, 1952; he died August 9, 2003. 

Mrs. Tonlino was co-owner of Johnny's Used Cars & Auto Parts in Otis with her husband for over 40 years. She enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, cooking and tending to her gardens in her younger years.

Mrs. Tonlino leaves behind one son, John B. Tonlino III and his wife, Kimberly, of Otis; one daughter, Nancy M. Curtin and her husband, Dennis, of Otis; three grandchildren, Kristen, Jake and Luke; and four great-grandchildren. 

Besides her husband, Mrs. Tonlino was predeceased by her daughter, Joy Smith; and all eight of her siblings. 

Funeral notice: A memorial service for Anna M. Tonlino will be held at the Otis Cemetery on June 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Neil, officiating.
