Rose and family, I am saddened to hear of Dr. Lord's passing. He was my dentist for many years and I always enjoyed hearing him tell stories of when he and my dad were growing up in Adams. I found out that my dad taught him how to whistle. I saw him over the summer at Pedrin's and it was heartwarming to see his warm, beautiful smile. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Ray Lord was a wonderful dentist and an all round great guy. Besides having me for a patient, he also had my husband, my son, and my dad. He made the time go by so quickly with his many entertaining stories. It was hard not to laugh even though my mouth was full of gauze. He had gone to school with my mother in law and told me how he used to dip her pigtails in the inkwell. I don’t know if this was true or not, but she refused to go to him because of all of his schoolboy antics. I always left his office smiling and not just because he did a good job cleaning my teeth. God bless you, Dr. Lord. I know you are going to continue to make people laugh with your funny stories in Heaven.
