Lisa D. Martin, 43
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Lisa Denise Martin, 43, of 522 Union St. died on Saturday, July 20, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident in New York State.
Born in North Adams on Dec. 5, 1969, a daughter of Millard Daniels of the town of Florida and the late Nancy Sunn Daniels, she graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1987.
Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and devoted mother.
She was a life member of the Florida Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, crocheting and spending time with her son.
Her husband, William Arnold "Lump" Martin, whom she married on June 7, 2003, died on Nov. 5, 2011.
Besides her father and his fiancée, Louise Shephard, she leaves a son, Matthew Daniels of North Adams; three sisters, Michelle Crowning Shield of Colrain, Corina McMaster of Caledonia, N.Y., and June Montgomery of Florida; a brother, Millard C. Daniels of Florida, and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Martin will take place on Friday, July 26, at 11:30 from Florida Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Florida Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday July 25, from 5 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Donations can be made to the Matthew Daniels Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
