Beverly L. Duquette, 72
ADAMS, Mass. - Beverly Lorraine Duquette, 72, of 44 East Jordan St. died Thursday, Feb, 20, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Rowe on Dec. 22, 1941, daughter of Travis Del Ratez and Phoebe Roberts Del Ratez Braman, she attended North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School.
Ms. Duquette was a self-employed day-care provider and foster mother for many area children. Before that, she worked as a licensed nursing assistant.
She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and playing cards.
She leaves a daughter, Rebecca Duquette and her fiance, Richard Perras Sr. of Adams; three sons, Kenneth L. Williams Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Dalton, Craig A. Williams of Adams and Shaun Duquette and his companion, Aimee Hayden, of Adams; two sisters, Eileen Jackson of North Adams and Deborah Stratton of Hoosick, N.Y.; three brothers, Mitchell Braman and James Del Ratez, both of North Adams, and William Del Ratez of Elmira, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren including Jackson, Austin, Kevin, Kyle, Desiree, Brian, Zachary, Braylon, Tyler, Joshua, and Kylie; and nieces and nephews.
The was predeceased by her beloved aunt Pearl Tucker.
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Ms. Duquette will be Thursday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Healing Homes or any foster care program of the donor's choice In care of the funeral home.
