WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Robert Francis Morrow Jr., 64, of 34 Henderson Road died Friday, March 28, 2014, at his home.
Born in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on July 8, 1949, son of Robert F. and Theo Marie Seeley Morrow, he attended local schools and graduated from Northeastern University in Boston. He also received a master's degree in business from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Mr. Morrow was last employed by Carol Cable Co., where he worked for many years.
He was founder of the Northern Berkshire Parkinson's Support Group. He loved history and researched and wrote "The 77th New York Volunteers: 'Sojering' in the VI Corps"(White Mane Publishing, 2004). He also enjoyed building bird houses and photography, and was known for his sense of humor.
He and his wife, the former Mary M. Charbonneau, were married on June 24, 1983, in the former Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams.
Besides his wife, he leaves his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Sharyn and Gerard Barlik of Greenville, S.C., Michele and Michael Christon of Burnsville, N.C., Renee and Robert Lanza of Broad Brook, Conn., Jan and Stan Spencer of Pittsfield, Tina and Royce VanEvera of Lake Placid, N.Y., Alan and Eileen Charbonneau of Peoria, Ariz., Lee-Anne and Daniel Dullea of Queenstown, Md., and Jon and Cheryl Charbonneau of Cheshire, and many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mr. Morrow will be Tuesday, April 1, at 11 a.m. from at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson's Foundation in care of the funeral home.
