Diane T. Scott, 54

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. Diane Theresa Scott, 54, of 174 West Shaft Road died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 7, 1959, daughter of Frank and Ida Campeau Soldo, she attended Cheshire schools and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School, where she was a member of the alpine ski team. She completed the postgraduate dental assisting program at McCann Technical School.

Mrs. Scott was employed in the dental practice of Drs. Herbert Rod and Neil Peyser in Pittsfield for more than 30 years.

She enjoyed walking and skiing and was a former ski instructor at Berkshire East and Brodie Mountain ski resorts.

She and her husband, Marc F. Scott, were married on March 27, 1982, in St. Mary's Church in Cheshire.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Ramsey Langenback and her husband, Tim, of Williamstown and Casey Scott, graduating from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, on May 17; two brothers, James Soldo of Pittsfield and Robert Soldo of Adams; three grandchildren, Landon and twins Nolan and Mason, and nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE The funeral for Mrs. Scott will be Tuesday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 8, from 9 to 11 at the funeral home. A reception will follow the service at the home of Pat Roberts at 36 Kemp Ave. in North Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to her grandchildren's education fund in care of Marc Scott.
