Rosa Ines Milesi, 87
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Rosa Ines Milesi, 87, of 252 Walnut St. died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown.
Born in Campione sul Garda, Tremosine, Italy on Sept. 25, 1926, daughter of Ferdinando and Catherina Nicoletti Caron, she attended schools in Italy and came to the United States in 1955.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Milesi worked at the former Wall-Streeter Shoe and Sprague Electric companies for a time. She also assisted her husband in the operation of the former Bruno's Imports.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family and was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church. She enjoyed music, singing, dancing, reading and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband, Vittor Bruno Milesi, whom she married on April 19, 1954, died on May 25, 1997.
She leaves her daughter, Nancy Segala and her husband, David, of North Adams; two grandchildren, Krysten Zocchi and her husband, Daniel, and Joseph Segala, all of North Adams; her great-grandson, Alexander Zocchi of North Adams; her sister-in-law, Rina Caron, and two nephews, Claudio Caron and Bruno Caron and their families.
She was predeceased by her siblings Ida, Elena, Angelo and Gino.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Milesi will be celebrated Friday, April 11, at 9 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to her great-grandson Alexander's college education in care of Nancy Segala through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.
