Charles E. Clark Jr., 81

June 25, 2014

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Charles Edward Clark Jr., 81, of Apache Drive died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at his home.

Born in North Adams on March 7, 1933, son of Charles E. Clark and June Wright Clark Aubin, he attended schools in North Adams.

Mr. Clark worked in the construction field with local contractors. He was first employed at the former Giant Store and also worked as a bartender.

He was a member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and photography and in his younger years was a boxer.

He leaves his longtime companion, Marie Gagne; a son, Charles Clark and his wife, Bobbi Jo, of North Adams; a daughter, Lisa McElroy and her husband, Jim of Colorado; two stepchildren, Jay Fisher and his wife, Stephanie, and Mary Gray and her husband, Mark, all of Florida; a sister, Thelka Robinson of North Adams; two brothers, Roger Clark and his wife, Jan, of Pittsfield and Kent Clark Sr. and his wife, Judy, of Nort Adams; nine grandchildren, Penny Hewey and her husband, Ian, Melinda, Rachael and Gordon McElroy, Rebecca Moos and her husband, Uriah, Isiah, Conor and Madison Clark and Krystal Louison, four
great-grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Clark was predeceased by his sister, Carrie Todd, and two brothers, Roy and Daniel Clark, as well as two stepchildren, William and Robert Fisher.

FUNERAL NOTICE — At Mr. Clark's request, there will be no services.

Memorial donations may be made to VNA and Hospice of Northern Berkshire or Elder Services in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
