BENNINGTON, Vt. — Steven Michael Farrar, 55, of 26 School St. died following a long illness on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, at the Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center.
Born in Holden, Mass., on March 5, 1959, a son of Betty Jane Phillips Baldwin and the late Leman Boles Farrar, he graduated with the class of 1979 from Mahar Regional High School in Orange, Mass.
He was a veteran of the Army National Guard.
Mr. Farrar was employed for several years at the New England Firearms Co. in Gardner, Mass.
Besides his mother, leaves his children, Curtis and Christal, and brothers and sisters.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Calling hours Mr. Farrar will take place Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass.
Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested for Bennington Project Independence (BPI) through the funeral home.
