Viola M. Brondoni, 88

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Viola Marie Brondoni, 88, of 189 State St. died Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at Williamstown Commons. Born in North Adams on Feb. 4, 1926, daughter of Felix and Catherine Violette Letalien, she attended local schools. Mrs. Brondoni had been employed at the former at J.J. Newberry and JC Penney stores on Main Street, and the former Sprague Electric Co. She was last employed by the former North Adams Transcript until her retirement. She was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church. Her husband, Giulio Brondoni, whom she married Sept. 13, 1947, died on Jan. 9, 2006. She leaves two sons, Edward Brondoni of North Adams and Anthony Brondoni of Palmetto, Fla.; a sister, Elaine Misiaszek of Oklahoma, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Seven siblings predeceased her: Ruth Vincelette, Marie Markey, Irene Luczynski, Mildred Walden, and James Letalien, Joseph Letalien and Gilbert Letalien. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Brondoni will be Friday, Dec. 5, at 10:15 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
