NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jessie Blanche Collier Koloski, 86, of San Bernardino, Calif., formerly of North Adams, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, following a brief illness. Jessie was born and raised in
Born in North Adams, daughter of John Joseph and Jessie B. Pecor Cardinal, she graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1947. She resided in the city for the majority of her life and moved to Lee in 1979.
Mrs. Collier Koloski was employed for many years as a telephone operator and later a switchboard operator for the former Sprague Electric Co.
Her first husband, Raymond Collier Jr., who she married in 1949, is deceased.
Her husband, Anthony Koloski, who she married in 1979, also predeceaed her.
She leaves her daughter, Margaret Collier McDonald and her husband, Steven McDonald, of San Bernardino; a son, Paul Collier and his wife, Beth, of North Adams; her stepson, Steven Koloski and his wife, Nori, of San Diego; eight grandchildren, Colleen McDonald of Stephentown, N.Y., Scott McDonald and his wife, Federica, of Irvine, Calif., Kathleen Rivera and her wife, Josie Rivera, of San Bernardino, Christa Collier and her husband, Travis DuPont, of Adams, Paul Collier of Ruskin, Fla., Hannah Collier of North Adams, Brett Koloski and his wife, Mallory, of Concord, N.C., and Travis Koloski of Chester, S.C; and 11 great-grandchildren Alyssa, Wyatt, Jesse Mac, Kyle, Benjamin, Isabella, Emma, Gavin, Harper, Bryan and Melissa.
She was predeceased by her son Bruce F. Collier, grandson Mathew Collier and her brother and sister, John Cardinal and Dorothy Cardinal Corsi.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Koloski will take place Friday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday morning from 9 to 11 at the funeral home.
