Emma M. Volff, 79
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Emma Margaret Volff, 79, of 398 Houghton St., died on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Adams on Aug. 21, 1936, a daughter of Frank and Claresa Walling Sprague, she attended school in Adams.
A primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Volff also worked as a seamstress.
She was a communicant of the former St. Anthony's Church and enjoyed sewing, baking and playing bingo.
Her husband, Joseph Volff, whom she married in 1957, died Feb. 1, 2014.
She leaves her daughter and son, Lisa Volff and Anthony Phillips, both of Clarksburg; and her granddaughter, Anya Volff.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Volff will be held on Thursday evening at 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
A calling hour will be held from 6 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the funeral home.
