NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Diane Louise Exford, 68, of North Street died on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Born in North Adams on Nov.  16, 1947, a daughter of Thurman and Charlotte Evelyn Thomas Exford, she attended schools in North Adams.

Ms. Exford was employed at Big Y Super Market for many years and at Berkshire Family & Individual Resources.

She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church.

She leaves her sister, Sandra Bissaillon and her husband, Joseph, of North Adams; two stepsisters, Sister Doris Exford of the Sisters of Providence, Holyoke, and Barbara Blanchette of Williamstown; many nieces and nephews and all her friends from BFAIR. 

Her family would like to thank the caring staff at BFAIR for their love and support over the years.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Ms. Exford will be held on Tuesday, March 8, at 11 at St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Monday, March 7, from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Donations may be made to BFAIR in care of the funeral home.
