Richard Wozniak, 83

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Richard Wozniak, 83, formerly of 33 Arnold St., Methuen, died on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen.

He was born in Poland on December 12, 1932, son of the late Felix and Helen (Miodek) Wozniak. He moved to the United States as a young boy with his family and attended schools here.

His wife, the former Kathleen S. Bussiere, whom he married on December 4, 1960, died on June 22, 2008.

He is survived by his son, Michael Wozniak of Methuen; his daughter, Sherry Tinney and her husband Ronald of West Barnstable; five grandchildren, Jason, Katie, Paul, Chelsea and Laura Rose Wozniak; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, whom he considered his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son, Lawrence Wozniak, and by his daughter, Lori Ann Wozniak.

Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 28, at noon at the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, MA 01220. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Lanesborough.
