Jane L. McConnell, 96

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Jane Lillian (Williams) McConnell, 96, of North Adams died on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at North Adams Commons, where she had resided since 2014. 

She was born in North Adams on July 24, 1919, daughter of the late Royl and Jane (Kennedy) Williams. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School. 

Mrs. McConnell worked for many years as a private duty nurse and later for the former Williamstown Visiting Nurse Association until her retirement. 

She was a member of the Stamford Community Church, Stamford, Vt. 

Her husband, William F. McConnell is deceased. 

She is survived by three daughters, Kaye Todt and her husband William of Kennett Square, Penn., Billie Case and her husband Frederick of Winter Garden, Fla., and Robin Masters and her husband Ronald of Elizabeth City, N.C.; and three grandchildren, William "Billy" Todt Jr., of New York, N.Y.; Betsy Iovino and her husband Joseph of Chadds Ford, Penn., and Kenneth "Kenny" Young and his wife Samantha and their children Kenny and Wyatt, all of Virginia Beach, Va.
