Jeffrey M. LaCosse, 28
HANCOCK, Mass. — Jeffrey Matthew LaCosse, 28, of 2519 Hancock Road, and formerly of Williamstown, died Friday, June 27, 2003, at home.
Born in North Adams on Dec. 17, 1974, son of Daniel A. LaCosse Sr. and Linda Brooks LaCosse of Hancock, he attended schools in Williamstown, including Mount Greylock Regional High School, where he was a member of the varsity basketball and football teams. He transferred to Fryeburg (Maine) Academy and graduated in 1994.
Mr. LaCosse had been employed by Anderson Aeration Co. in Connecticut, installing irrigation systems for golf courses and athletic fields.
He was a talented athlete and loved all sports, including golf. He was a member of Waubeeka Golf Links in Williamstown.
Besides his parents, he leaves a brother, Daniel A. LaCosse II of Williamstown; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth R. and Ty Blondin Brooks of North Adams, and loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Mr. LaCosse will take place Tuesday at 11 at St. Raphael's Church, Williamstown, with the Rev. Mark Burke, pastor of St. Patrick and Raphael Parish, as the celebrant.
Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, will be tomorrow from 4 to 8. Memorial donations in his memory may be made through the funeral home.
