Albert N. Soucie, 66
ADAMS, Mass. — Albert N. Soucie, 66, of 81 Commercial St. died Wednesday in the emergency room of Berkshire Medical Center following an auto accident in Adams.
Born in Middleboro on Feb. 28, 1937, son of Louis and Dorothy Lincoln Soucie, he was educated in Middleboro schools.
The family moved to the Berkshires in the 1960s.
Mr. Soucie was a yardman for Stanley Lumber Co. of Adams for many years before his retirement.
His wife, the former Grace Thompson, whom he married on April 11, 1970, in Adams, died in 1992.
He leaves two sons, Allen M. Soucie and Albert N. Soucie Jr., both of the state of Florida; a daughter, Denise M. Soucie of the state of Florida; three brothers, Harold and Walter Soucie of Pownal, Vt., and Louis Soucie of Greenfield; five sisters, Mary Malloy and Beatrice Herrmann, both of Adams, Dorothy Guillotte of North Adams, Beverly D. Wolff of Pownal and Bernice Sprowson of Savannah, Ga.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A service for Mr. Soucie is planned for next week at a time still to be chosen.
